Living Earth Youth Dialogues
Sharing from the Heart
Planting Seeds of Hope
Towards Ecological Civilization
A project of the Living Earth Movement, the Institute for Postmodern Development of China, and the Cobb Institute

Living Earth Youth Dialogues is a monthly initiative where young people from China and the United States come together to explore our time’s urgent ecological, cultural, and spiritual issues.
Chinese and American youth build cross-cultural bonds by sharing their thoughts, personal stories, and actions in local settings to support a vision for a new ecological civilization. They discuss topics like food, poetry, gardening, climate crisis solutions, and the meaning of life itself.
Throughout this journey, they converse with renowned pioneer John B. Cobb, Jr., a seed-planting expert dedicated to fostering an Ecological Civilization. The inaugural event on December 2nd, 2022, was a resounding success.
For more information about the Youth Dialogues from program co-facilitators Jared Morningstar and Vivian Song, we highly recommend the recording of the introduction they shared with the world last June. Watch the video on the Living Earth Movement YouTube channel below or click here.
Recordings of many of our other monthly Youth Dialogues are available on the Living Earth Movement YouTube channel.
